November is here!
Sorry for the long delay in posting! Welcome to our student teachers from the University of Ottawa, Tania Koreny and Kelly O'Hara. We are very busy at school right now with a number of exciting projects. We have been making posters and writing essays to commemorate Remembrance Day. Students who wish to will be able to submit their work to the legion for their annual conference. Parents, watch for permission forms to come home in the next week. We are finishing up our science unit on Energy and beginning a new study of Structures. In Social Studies, we will move our study of government to focus on the federal government. In math, we will be studying measurement with a particular focus on making change. I encourage students to practice this at home.
