Here is a little snapshot of some things we are working on right now:

• We are making shoebox museums. We are decorating the outside of the box in art class and will be filling it with special items about us. These can be photos, drawings, magazine clippings or other small items. Please find 10 items to put in your box by Friday.
• We are learning about energy in science and will design superheroes that use forms of energy for their superheroes.
• In social studies we are learning about our government and keeping an eye on the upcoming municipal election.
• In math we are working on number sense. We have been learning our times tables, reading big numbers, and filling out cheques to use number words.
• In reading we are in training! We are learning how to work on various independent reading jobs because soon we will be meeting in small groups for reading lessons.
